Remycraft is a chill SMP Minecraft server we kicked off on January 19, 2025. It’s loaded with plugins and datapacks that spice up the classic game without changing what makes Minecraft awesome. Most folks play for fun, focusing on survival and building cool stuff. This server is a beefed-up version of our old server, running smoother and safer than before.

Rules
- No griefing/stealing
Don’t go your way stealing stuff or blowing buildings while everyone is sleeping. - No trolling
We prefer that everyone plays nice and doesn’t ruin each others fun. - No PVP
Basically don’t kill random innocent people. This is not an anarchy server. - Be nice
No excessive swearing, racism, sexism, all that kind of stuff, - Speak English
Because otherwise we can’t know what you’re saying - No hacking, exploiting, or item duplicating

- Don’t build too far away
When someone travels from spawn for thousands of blocks, the server seems emptier and eventually people get bored. Please don’t go too far off from the spawn.

Remycraft another boring update!
- added server resourcepack: it downloads automatically at start. It has some vanilla tweak texutres and the dragon kind resource pack
- https://remyie.com/remycraft/ I made a web page for the server there’s not much I’ll probably put some photos there, and the news as well
- experimenting with powershell on linux to make cross compatible powershell script to manage server both on windows (locally) and linux (server), after spanking groks ass several times it’s mostly working
Next I will try to figure how the heck pl3xmap markers really work but when I figure it out everyone can mark their homes with icons, or put a rectangle over the land they own and it will be visible on the website map
Also I want to add minecart experimentation on the server, so we can have a lot faster minecarts, I think that would be a great transportation solution instead of having ugly nether highway boats.
After those I want to add economy to the server, full on capitalism where all of you have to pay taxes to me and if you fail to pay taxes to me you will be sent to tax mines where you have to be my slave for the rest of your life
Jkjk I think having some sort of economy plugins with npcs to trade with would be great. So you could easily get building materials.

Remycraft boring update!…
Removed the Backuper plugin: It just stopped working I mean it used to be working now it don’t,
- New and better backup! I spent about 5 hours and finally wrote a really great server script that will restart the server everyday and take a backup!
Unlike previously I’m making backups of the entire server so it should be better incase of someone decides to enter in random commands that cannot be reverted back via only world backups!!
Like previously I will continue making daily backups of the server probably for upto a whole week and any older ones will be deleted so i dont get filled up
Still working on the website and pl3xmap, those will be for another day. But also make sure to use the custom server domain “mc.remyie.com”
It lets you join the game much faster!

Remycraft Update!
Finally had some time to actually fiddle with the server.
- Moved my website remyie.com and VPN to a seperate server, Minecraft server overall should run a bit better.
- Removed a lot of packages from the server. While getting this server for some reason I went with full installation of Ubuntu instead of minimal so I uninstalled a lot of the gui apps and leftover packages.
- Expanded the server’s harddrive from 50gb to 100gb. Now only 30% of it is being used.
- Fixed Backups: Daily backups will start working again and thanks to more space, there will be more backups available.
- Disabled Mob Griefing Again! This time I swear it should work or I will give everyone here a sloppy toppy
- Added datapack: Too Expensive Removed
- Fixed timber plugin??? honestly some trees simply don’t wanna get cut down some do
- Updated a couple datapacks and plugins
- Increased view distance from 12 to 16, simulation distance from 5 to 6 chunks.
Experimenting with the Pl3xmap markers, soon we can start adding markers to know each others buildings

@everyone server had a backup problem, daily backups didn’t happen since the 8th, i accidentally run a kill command on everything, I used coreprotect to get nearly everything back but some stuff got removed, mainly: boats, armor stands, minecarts, paintings, ect. If you lost something on the server just dm me ill give it to you

Enabled Grave Robbing
Graves that remain uncollected for 2 days can now be claimed by any player.,
Players can loot the items from these abandoned graves.,
Many players were not claiming their old graves, leading to clutter.

Auto Restart:
The Minecraft server restarts daily as usual.,
New: A full server restart will now also occur every Sunday.,
Successfully tested today, with a minor firewall issue resolved.,
You should no longer face connection issues after restarts.,

Increased Mob Spawns
There should be %75 more mobs, including monsters.,
Per tick, it’s 2x more likely to spawn.,
Server should be able to handle it but if it has performance issues I might reduce it

New Plugin:
GSit: Similar to the previous sit plugin, but with improvements. Now, you won’t accidentally sit on blocks when trying to break them.
You can sit by typing /sit or by right-clicking on sittable blocks with an empty hand.
If you press the sneak key twice while looking straight down, you’ll enter crawl mode. This is useful for squeezing through tight spaces.
You can also lay on the ground by typing /lay. This feature is handy as well. Additionally, as long as at least one person is sleeping in a bed, laying down will also contribute to the sleep percentage, helping to skip the night.

Updated my datapack, CraftyAll: It adds 82 new recipes which you can find on your ingame recipe book when crafting. I added a couple new things. Notable recipes are being able to smelt rotten flesh to make leather, enchanted golden apple, elytra, lead, saddle, totem of undying recipes. When I feel confident about the datapack I’m planning to release it on Modrinth.
Removed Datapacks:
Timber Strike Enchantment; replaced with a more simple plugin.
HarvestXP; gives xp for harvesting crops, replaced with more performant plugin
New Plugins:
BoostXP; gives xp for breaking logs, harvesting crops and brewing potions.
It doesn’t spawn an XP orb; XP gets added to you directly.
TreeFeller; Axes with fortune enchantment will bring the whole tree down.
If your axes durability is too low, it will not work. Use unbreaking enchantment as well.
For balancing reasons, I made it so that breaking each tree consumes half a bar of food.
With these just two changes the server runs a bit faster, because these datapacks were running a loop every tick for each player.

Added new datapack: End Void to Overworld. When you fall into the void, you will be transported to the overworld in the sky.
